RULES & REGULATIONS
- LIFE, SENIOR ACTIVE AND JUNIOR ACTIVE MEMBERS SHALL BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN ALL CLASSES AT REGULAR COMPETITIONS, EVENTING COMPETITIONS AT THE PRELIMINARY LEVEL OR ABOVE AND COMBINED DRVING COMPETITIONS AT THE ADVANCED LEVEL, DRESSAGE AND VAULTING COMPETITIONS AND ENDURANCE RIDES PROVIDED THE RESPECTIVE DUES OR BREED/DISCIPLINE CATEGORY FEE HAS BEEN PAID. A NONMENER MAY PARTICIPATE AS A HANDLER, RIDER, DRIVER, OWNER, LESSEE, AGENT, COACH OR TRAINER AT REGULAR COMPETITIONS, EVENTING COMPETITIONS, DRESSAGE COMPETITIONS AND COMBINED DRIVING COMPETITIONS UPON PAYMENT OF A $20 NON-MEMBER REGISTRATION FEE AND A $5 BREED/DISCIPLINE CATEGORY FEE FOR EACH BREED/DISCIPLINE. PARTICIPANTS IN THE FOLLOWING CLASSES ARE EXEMPTED FROM THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS RULE; 1) LEADLINE; 2) EXHIBITIONS; 3)GAMES AND RACES; 4) CLASSES FOR 4-H MEMBERS; 5) WALK-TROT AND ACADEMY CLASSES (Academy classes are classes limited to horses used regularly in a lesson program); 6) USDF INTRODUCTORY LEVEL TESTS, PAS DE DEUX AND QUADRILLE CLASSES, ALSO EXEMPTED FROM THIS REQUIREMENT ARE CITIZENS OF OTHER NATIONS WHO HAVE PROOF, IN ENGLISH, OF CURRENT MEMBERSHIP IN GOOD STANDING OF THEIR OWN NATIONAL FEDERATION; 7) USEA BEGINNER NOVICE DIVISION; AND 8) ASSISTANT HANDLERS IN DRESSAGE SPORT HORSE BREEDING CLASSES.
- Judges decisions are final.
- The Committee reserves the right to cancel, combine, or divide the classes when deemed necessary to facilitate the smooth running of the show.
- Courses will consist of post and rails, walls, pickets and brush.
- A trophy, championship and reserve ribbons will be awarded in all divisions.Champion and reserve will be awarded to two of the four horses which have acquired the most points in the over fence classes in their divisions. In addition to these points, only those horses shall receive full points for ribbons won in the under saddle classes. Points to be awarded through the first six places:10-6-4-2-1-1/2.
- A trophy and/or cash and eight ribbons for all rated hunter division, otherwise six ribbons will be awarded in all classes unless otherwise stated.
- Every class offered herein which is covered by the Rules & Specifications of the current USEF Rule Book will be conducted and judged in accordance there within.
- No numbers taken for warm-up after 7:30 a.m.
- Prize money will be awarded at the ring in the form of a voucher. Vouchers may be exchanged for a check at the Secretary’s office. Vouchers must be cashed the day of the show.
- All classes will be judged on performance and soundness unless otherwise stated.
- Entry Fee: $20.00 per class unless otherwise stated.
