SHOW YOUR BARN SPIRIT! RIDE IN THEME BASED COSTUMES ALL DAY. DRESS UP YOUR HORSES OR SPECIALLY OUTFIT A HORSEAND RIDER TO GIVE A PRESENTATION.

Rules:

  1. Show clothes are not required
  2. "Colorful" braiding is encouraged
  3. Fun and lots of smiles are a must!

Classes are $7.00 unless otherwise noted.

All classes have no age limit and cross entering is allowed and encouraged. (E.g.: Class 7 may enter in Class 4 or Class 2 and 3 may enter in Class 4)
We heartily encourage adult participation!

Walk-Trot-Canter classes (classes 15 - 17) are for those riders not yet ready for Short Stirrup.

The jumping divisions may be split according to age.

If time allows, trainers may request additional classes or divisions - please call Olana or Lowell.

Class List:

  1. INTERMEDIATE HORSEMANSHIP PRACTICAL - Exhibitor will be asked to perform barn duties and exhibit horsemanship knowledge. This class will run throughout the day.
  2. TRAIL CLASS - Horses and ponies will be. required to maneuver over and through a set of obstacles and perform various tasks. This class will run throughout the day.
  1. BEGINNERS HORSEMANSHIP ON GROUND - Horses or ponies to be shown on line. Two exhibits per horse are allowed. Exhibitors may be asked questions by the judge to demonstrate their horsemanship knowledge. (This class is not confirmation, fitting or a showmanship class.)
  2. LEADLINE EQUITATION - Horses or ponies to be shown on line at a walk. Some trotting may be required.
  3. LEADLINE SUITABILITY - To be judged on manners and suitability of the horse or pony to rider.
  4. WALK EQUITATION - Exhibitors may be asked by the judge for individual tests. Trainers may be present in the ring.
  5. GAMES CLASS - CONE WEAVE - To be shown at a walk demonstrating ability to steer and maneuver between cones.
  6. WALK-TROT EQUITATION ON THE LONG SIDE - To be judged on the riders equitation. Exhibitors will be asked to trot one long side of the arena. Trainer or handler may be present in the ring.
  7. WALK-TROT PLEASURE ON THE LONG SIDE - Exhibitors will be asked to trot one long side of the arena. Horses and ponies to be judged on manners, performance and way of going. Trainer or handler may be present in the ring.
  8. WALK-TROT EQUITATION - (NO DIAGONALS) - To be judged on the riders equitation. Diagonals will not be taken into consideration.
  9. WALK-TROT EQUITATION - (DIAGONALS) - To be judged on the riders equitation. Diagonals will be taken into cons ideration.
  10. WALK-TROT PLEASURE - Horses and ponies to be judged on manners, performance and way of going.
  11. WALK-TROT MEDAL - To be judged as an equitation class. Exhibitors will be asked to perform individual tests.
  12. GAMES CLASS - Appropriate for WalkfTrot riders. This game is to be determined. Exhibitors will be required to demonstrate their riding ability at the walk and trot.
  13. WALK-TROT-CANTER EQUITATION ON THE LONG SIDE - Exhibitors will be asked to walk, trot and canter one long side of the arena.
  14. WALK-TROT-CANTER PLEASURE ON LONG SIDE - Exhibitors will be asked to walk, trot and canter one long side of the arena. Horses and ponies to be judged on manners, performance and way of going.
  15. WALK-TROT-CANTER EQUITATION - To be judged on the riders equitation.
  16. WALK-TROT-CANTER PLEASURE - Horses and ponies to be judged on manners, performance and way of going.
  17. WALK- TROT -CANTER MEDAL - To be judged as an equitation class. Exhibitors will be asked to perform individual tests.
  18. GAMES CLASS - Appropriate for Walk/Trot/Canter riders. This game is to be determined. Exhibitors will be required to demonstrate their riding ability at the walk, trot and canter.
  19. GROUND RAILS TROT OR CANTER EQUITATION - To be judged on the riders equitation at a trot or canter over a course of rails on the ground.
  20. GROUND RAILS TROT OR CANTER HUNTER - To be judged over a course of rails on the ground at a trot or canter.
  21. GROUND RAILS MEDAL - To be shown at a trot or canter over a course of rails on the ground. Exhibitors will be asked to perform individual tests.
  22. CROSS RAILS EQUITATION ON THE FLAT - To be shown at a walk, trot and canter both ways of the ring. To be judged on the riders equitation.
  23. CROSS RAILS HUNTER UNDER SADDLE - To be shown at a walk, trot and canter both ways of the ring; Horses and ponies shall be judged on manners, performance and way of going.

UNJUDGED WARM-UP

  1. CROSS RAILS EQUITATION OVER FENCES - To be judged on the riders equitation over a course of a minimum of 4 or a maximum of 8 fences.
  2. CROSS RAILS MEDAL - To be judged on the riders equitation over a course of a minimum of 4 or a maximum of 8 fences. Exhibitors will be asked to perform individual tests.
  3. CROSS RAILS HUNTER OVER FENCES - To be judged over a course of a minimum of 4 or a maximum of 8 fences. Horses and ponies shall be judged on manners and performance.
  4. CROSS RAILS HUNTER OVER FENCES - All Over Again.

UNJUDGED WARM-UP

  1. SPECIAL 2'3" EQUITATION OVER FENCES - TO be judged on the riders equitation over a course of a minimum of 4 or a maximum of 8 fences.
  2. SPECIAL 2'3" MEDAL - To be judged on the riders equitation over a course of a minimum of 4 or a maximum of 8 fences. Exhibitors will be asked to perform individual tests.
  3. SPECIAL 2'3" HUNTER OVER FENCES - To be judged over a course of a minimum of 4 or a maximum of 8 fences. Horses and ponies shall be judged on manners and performance.
  4. SPECIAL 2'3" HUNTER OVER FENCES - All Over Again.
